After you install Krisp, you should have the option to select it both as an input and output audio device. To activate Krisp, you must go to the sound settings of the program that you’re using for making voice calls. Well, Krisp is an application that can actually be of help. Depending on who you’re having a call with, a situation like this can become embarrassing. This usually happens because of background noise, such as your colleagues speaking, a loud air conditioner, cars honking or cats having a more exciting conversation right outside your window. However, you may still find yourself in situations where the quality of a voice call is lacking, to say the least. Technological advancements have made the former much cheaper than the latter, and just as reliable. I regret jumping the gun and paying for the subscription and am still waiting on a refund since the product clearly does not work as advertised or intended.Today, voice calls (as in “calls made directly over the Internet”) have probably become more popular than phone calls. I have since switched to Nvidia Broadcast which has been a huge improvement. After poking around on some reviews online, I found out that other people were having the same problem with the program distorting their voice. I spent an entire day trying to make it work. I reached out to Krisp Support, but none of the fixes provided helped. When I hopped into a Discord call, my friends said I sounded muffled like I was underwater, and there was a slight staticky sound whenever I spoke. However, it somehow got rid of my voice too.

I was happy with the results when testing it out in Windows Voice Recorder as it seriously does get rid of keyboard clacks and other background noise. Krisp works great…just not necessarily with Discord. You know my thoughts, it's up to you, not me, to do something about it. I chose to leave the review here as we all know what happens when sending it directly. Just saying "Security is important to our team", speaks nothing to my concerns here.

This added another level of administration to my otherwise busy day… So this software doesn't function as advertised, is largely ineffective, and I'm stuck with it now as I can't get a refund for what is effectively useless software… I recommend avoiding this product and this company and a better a better product and dealing with a company that has a far higher level of integrity… To the point where I was only using it in extreme circumstances and turning it off at all other times. And to be honest, the noise reduction did take out background noise but at the expense of the voice quality, even after system training. I feel like they know they are misleading people and are happy to make a quick grab the cash. Tech support was also happy to inform me that there is a strict "No Refund Policy" for this product, even within a 30 day period. An tech support will tell you that you can find this information on their website, however it is not in any way obvious and even with tech support advice is still challenging to find any information about the limited functionality for Windows users. None of the advertise video features work on a window system. If you are a Windows user you only get the very basic features of noise reduction. If you read through the website you'll find this is the most amazing software, however it's not until you pay for and install the software that you realise its limited functionality.
